Booked with Booked.net for three days but Microtel only had a one day reservation. Asked to extend for the three days and was given the run around blaming bookings.com for the mix-up. Had to renew res each night. Brutal.Desk clerk completely disinterested in his work. Customer was placed in a smoking room and came to the desk to switch rooms. Was informed that it was her fault because she didn't verify her online registration and she was stuck with the smoking room. No customer service what so ever.
It was clean and affordable
Clostaphopic- It was too small for my wife.
Cramped breakfast area and thin walls on rooms
Very comfortable beds, very reasonably priced, very friendly staff.
Little to dislike except the refrigerator made a loud ticking sound.
I love the bed which is firm and the white sheets and duvet. The room is clean.
The thickness of the pillows are not consistent. some are thicker and some are thinner. which makes it uncomfortable.
I only stayed in town for one night but the front desk clerks were very customer service orientated and impressionalble.
The eagerness of the staff to please. There were no 'shady' characters roaming around. The room was clean, well lit, and full functional. Great room for the money.
The staff was great! My room was very clean. The continental breakfast was good and offered a lot of options.
My room smelled a little odd and the smell got worse when the air turned on.
At Microtel you always get what you expect. There are never any unpleasant surprises. Staff are courteous and efficient. The rooms are always clean and the breakfast is plentiful. I would always stay there when we travel if the prices didn't vary so much from place to place. That makes it very frustrating when preferring to stay at a Microtel and cannot because the price jump makes no sense at all.
We liked everything. We stay there whenever we travel to Mytrle Beach. That is at least twice a year.
I booked 2 rooms and the hotel only had 1 reservation. They were very helpful and another room was available
The motel was what I expected and what I needed. I was glad to find it was clean.
My reservations where messed up at first. I booked 3 nights and they called me at my event to say I was suppose to check out after the first night. It was resolved that night when I got back to the O.nn
Had to stay in a smoking room. Very disappointed. Make them all non- smoking rooms and make the smokers go outside...you will get more customers.
It was really affordable and right be side the mall.
Breakfast wasnt very impressive..
Beds were very comfortable and space was nice.
The walls seemed thin....I could hear the neighbors several times during my stay.
